My key4.db file went corrupted: no entry in the nssPrivate table! I don't have any backup of that file nor can I use 'Previous version' from Windows. I know the master password. Is there any way to recover my 280 logins/passwords from logins.json without the key4.db file? Thanks in advance for your help, Stéphane.

I'm seeing a really weird issue - https://rs2018.raffworks.com/ - on Firefox PC only, after opening a couple of the items up, the scrollbar completely stops working. Sometimes one item, sometimes three or four. But then bang! the scrollbar just locks up completely and it's impossible to scroll the page.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Firefox on macOS is fine.

Hello all, For reasons of privacy, I want to be able to change the OS identifier in the user-agent string that is sent with every http request. I remember with older versions of firefox this could be accomplished in about:config and changing the useragent string, but this doesn't seem to be an option with newer versions. I have tried on both firefox for FreeBSD and Windows 8.1, to no avail.

If it is assigned at build time, could you please direct me to the area of code where this is handled so I can fork the code, change it locally, and build it for personal use?

This is the string I am trying to change: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0

I suspect it may be stored in one of the files in the ~/.mozilla directory, and while I wait for a response, I will be picking through there.

Thanks in advance,

We have one application where we have java applet program to select and upload file form the desktop to the server. While pressing first time "SELECT FILES" button, it works fine, but for the second time it crashes. I tried finding issue with my code but it is working fine on all other browser. The moment I press select files second time, the waiting wheel keeps on rotating till my application crashes.

My firefox browser will not open, so I can not try most of the solutions recommended. I do not want to lose stored information such as bookmarks and pass codes so would unstalling and reinstalling cause me to lose that information? I need to speak to a person to help with this, but do not know how to go about it. Should I be contacting Norton or Mozilla?
