Firefox will not load my default page (gmail inbox) when launched. It takes me instead to the google help page, specifically for cookies and cache clearing. My other installed browsers work fine with launching my google account and all its apps. Image upload below is of the page that pops up. The sign-in button does not work.

I've been having issues with Cross-Origin Request Blocked errors for a while now. I'm on Windows 11. I first noticed this issue when visiting YouTube. I would go to play a video and any video I tried to play would just load forever and never play. Then I noticed I was having the same issue on Facebook. The page would load but then a majority of the images wouldn't. I can use YouTube and Facebook just fine on Chrome. The reason for the error shows as "CORS request did not succeed". Initially I tried uninstalling all of my extensions. Then I completely uninstalled Firefox using Total Uninstall (for good measure). Nothing has worked. I'm not sure what changed that would cause these errors. Could this be a network issue? I've been having issues with certain sites on my Macbook Air as well (Chrome and Safari) but I thought maybe that was because it's pretty old and not supported by apple anymore.

How do I remove the stupid sidebar??? I ve always loved Firefox but Ive just reinstall Windows and then Ive installed Firefox. And this ridiculous sidebar showed. Ive marke Show and hide but still keep on displaying, stealing space from my browsing... :(

logged into mozilla and it ended up in a loop where it kept asking me to turn on caret browsing. every time I hit no it popped right back up immediately. I hit to stop showing the box and clicked no, but now every time I hit the shift key it opens some developer tool box in the bottom of the screen. hitting f7 again does nothing. i can't get the box to come back. i can't make it stop. everything I am seeing online is not helping or references tools or options that i can't locate in firefox. please help.

How do I remove the annoying sidebar on the side in Firefox? I have read and tried all the advice and none work. How do get rid of it permanently? I have read the help from Tech Support etc none work! I do not want it. Thank you.

Hello! After the recent update, any text I insert remains without spaces and all words are written together. I disabled all extensions: no result. The problem did not occur in other browsers.

I am getting Secure Connection failed Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR is there a way to bypass this. I tried 5 suggestions on YouTube and followed FireFox's directions for Avast, with no success.

I am unable to access the sign-in page for the correct Google account for YouTube TV on Firefox but there is no problem accessing it on Chrome. The incorrect Google account is the only one that will open, as shown in the attached screenshot, and clicking on any link only reloads that page instead of migrating to the link

Yahoo Mail won't open. Saved Yahoo Mail at bottom of page says "No internet connection" but work even though other apps and bookmarks open and recent Yahoo Mail saved at bottom of page opens when I click on it. Have most recent version Version 115.18.0esr 64-bit? Restarted Firefox but still won't open Yahoo mail bookmark.

Been using Firefox since the 90s and been on Mac since 2000s. This problem has been happening for about a year, throughout three macbooks (my old one, a temp one, and my new one) and multiple Firefox updates. I'm always updated and always clear cookies daily.

The failure to move bookmarks I can overcome by rebooting Firefox with a Forced Quit. If I only have to do this every few weeks, then no biggy reinserting all my passwords for all the different sites I use (and no, I don't want to use password managers, I don't trust them)

Today it happened within hours of Force Quitting Firefox, this is too much!!!

The only reason I didn't report this problem earlier is I simply expected an eventual newer version of Firefox to fix this bug.

Normal behaviour: click-drag bookmark within bookmark menu pull-down to position where I want bookmark Failure behaviour: click-drag fails to move bookmark, until I reboot Firefox, then it works again
