Example: If I start typing in the address bar and type the letter a... amazon.com comes up since I frequent there a lot. But, if I start typing the name of my bank nothing comes up in the address bar. I always have to type it out.
The program exits with no visible error. Safe mode appears and then closes quickly. Install is fresh and no modification has even able to have happened.
Every time I type it duplicates here is an example! Eevvereryyttiimmee ii ttypypee iitt dduuppiiccaatteess!! Let me know if there is some sort of fix!!!!!

</body></html>To use this, I just click it in whatever folder it's in and it comes up in Firefox. If I run this on either Linux or Mac, when I click "Nucleotide" it takes me to the URL. If I do this on Windows 11, my URL looks like the following:

What do I need to do on Windows to get the real URL to execute?

In Firefox, but not in Edge or Chrome, the shaded boxes enclosing text or delineating the page (on any web page, or in a PDF viewed in the browser) are missing.
In Gmail, for example, all the navigation elements above the list of emails are invisible, e.g. the little box and caption for selecting all the emails on the page, or for refreshing the page; and further, if all the emails are selected, the boxes for: Archive, Report Spam, Delete, Mark As Read, Snooze, Add To Tasks, Move to Inbox, More ... are invisible.
At WashingtonPost.com, for example, the banner ads that automatically display at the top of the home page, and at intervals throughout the page, and the shading around headlines on other pages, do not appear.

When I watch a video, mostly in Netflix, and go to the fullscreen mode, I see a url line on the bottom left corner of my screen. It doesn't go away when I click the screen. When I try to click over it it switches to the right bottom corner, which I find quite frustrating. Whenever, this happens I should refresh the page and hope that it solves my problem and most of the times it does. However, I still would be quite happy if I figured out what caused this problem and if there is anything I can do it to fix it for good.

Hi there! Well, another company told my business partner that their product does not like Firefox so we should use Chrome and maybe Edge. First, that is a crock, but seems to be a standard answer from anyone in the business world, sadly. I would not trust Edge or Chrome, especially those two, if they were the last platforms on earth. Hi I don't know what has happened to Firefox, I used it all the time for many years, now I can't sign in to Outlook and have more problems than ever. It asks me to sign into Microsoft but all I get is a blank page. Firefox was always more colourful than other browsers that's why I used it and nothing you do to try to fix this problem doesn't work, it creates more problems than it's worth, that's why I use Chrome, but I do want to use FF. Not all of us are IT experts and can't do all these complicated suggestions every web site offers, so can you make it so much easier for us to understand and for example get Outlook to open automatically as it used to do, until you can fix this I will have to use another browser. I really do like FF but it's impossible. Geoff.

Recently some programs, such as Word, are opening behind the browser window, so the only way I can access them is by shrinking and moving the browser. I also find that when a program does open in front of the browser, (as did Excel just now, I am unable to pull the browser window back to the fore without shrinking or closing the app window - ie closing excel - as I did just now. I have tested this in Chrome and Edge, and they seem to behave just fine, so the problem would appear to be with Firefox settings, but I can't locate a setting to tackle this.

Entering add-ons on the tools menu shows that the add-ons are actuall - despite the deinstall/reinstall are still present and active.
