There are questions about organizing the process of overseeing extensions.

It’s very strange when you see the “Recommended” extension, and at the same time you continue to see negative reviews, fresh ones. But another thing is offensive: the review submission form does not have feedback. I would like to receive a more detailed answer and user recommendations.

Let’s say a user writes that the design of the extension is not intuitive, that he lost information because of this extension and wasted a lot of time. And this is not consistent with the "Recommended" criteria. Causes dissonance.

Maybe it’s worth expanding the possibility of interactive interaction with reviews, with clients among themselves. Maybe it’s worth expanding the support base for these extensions? Link the application version to reviews to avoid misunderstandings?

When watching videos on YouTube or Amazon Prime, Firefox will eventually stop recognizing keyboard and mouse input in all windows and tabs. This can happen after just a few minutes of video or after hours. It affects nearly all input: typing or clicking in webpages, the toolbar, the address bar, etc., though I can click the 'x' button to close tabs. When I close the final window, a dialogue will appear stating that Firefox is non-responsive and allowing me to kill the process. This seems unusual, because the OS's system monitor indicates there is plenty of unused and available RAM and CPU resources. Firefox behaves normally after restarting.

OS: Xubuntu 22.04 Firefox version: 120.0 (though previous versions have been affected for the last few months)

1. ipleak,net is showing Firefox for Android is leaking WebRTC. Cant access about:config so how do I plug this leak?

2. I have heaps of collections saved on Firefox for Android. How do I go to/view collections in Firefox desktop?

3. Where do I find pocket in Firefox for Android? I've looked but don't see anything. I've also used the share option and didn't see anything

So I have two different accounts for one website. However one of them I use very rarely, maybe once in 2-3 months the other one i use almost daily. Therefore I have saved both logins in Firefox and I can see them in my passwords.

The problem is that whenever I try to access the website, Firefox auto-fills the "second" account, the one i only use rarely. What this means is that instead of me being able to just press login i have to delete the username filled in by Firefox and select the other one. So what i would like to do is to maybe tell Mozilla that I want it to use the other account for auto-fill.

I am in the habit of generating related tabs across several windows. Say, 5 windows and there might be 13 tabs that I want to organize onto one, new, window. How can I do this?

I've been using the following in userChrome.css for many years

1. menu_close { display: -moz-box !important; }

This stopped working some time ago and I am finally getting around to asking why.

I do have toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets set to true, and other items in userChrome.css are working.

I am using 121.0 at home and 115.0 ESR at work and see the same (i.e. no "Close Tab"), in both cases on Debian testing. I do see this menu item when using the keyboard to open the File menu.

Any idea why this no longer works?

Since snap firefox keeps crashing somehow, it just hangs.. i cleared cache and all, reinstalled it, but still.. ?

I am suddenly getting the following error message: "We recommend you use a different browser or disable the “EasyList Cookie” filter from your “Content Filtering” settings (found under “Settings” -> “Shields” in the Brave Browser)." Firefox is now unusable. I have searched "Settings" and can find nothing about "Content Filtering," "Shields," or "Brave Browser." Can you tell me what is going on here?

When I open a new tab in FF, a row of 8 boxes appears below the search bar where I can add shortcuts. I currently only use 5 of them, meaning there are 3 empty boxes left over. I don't want to have them show history, or recommended websites, or anything of the sort that might distract me; the shortcuts should only be those I actually intend to use, of which there are only 5. To my knowledge, the only easy way to add/remove shortcuts is to adjust the number of visible rows, but this only allows modifications based on multiples of the original 8. Like in Chrome, can I actually remove any excess shortcut boxes I don't want to use? I feel this is a very basic customization I'm sure Firefox should be able to accommodate.

Bangirot says technical problems when I want to see my received bankgiro payments. Win10 with Firefox, I can't see payments on that machine for a month soon. I have reinstalled firefox now. Still same result. With Android phone and firefox it works, but without printer. With another browser on Win10 it works, but not with firefox. Swedbank internetbank or bankgirocentralen can't help me. They have not heard of such problems.

Internetbank works, but with their connection to bankgirot it says, tehnical problems. If I login to bankgirot directly, it says tehnical problems.

So far its only the combination with this machine and firefox that gives this result. I haven't tried with another machine yet.

I have used firefox very long time without any problems.

Am running on linux with KDE. When I press the software shutdown button in KDE, and reboot, the tabs in firefox remain, even though I disabled that from happening in settings.

It seems that this problem is common in firefox community. So first of all I basically tried all default troubleshooting steps such as dealing with cookies (turning off, tuning on, exceptions), cleaning data, cleaning cache, security settings, etc etc, even though I am on freshly installed firefox.

So lets see now, problem is with https://vk.com/ website. It works until processing my login info. After I enter necessary credentials, it reloads and just produces infamous error. Network monitor displays loop of login.vk.com domain migrating cookies to login.vk.ru which restores them and then finally trying to open actual account php page starts the loop anew. Well until NS_ERROR_REDIRECT_LOOP stops this shamelessness. Resetting all browser data back, just enables me to enter my credentials again and the same process starts again. I can access this website from the same network from different browsers from different devices and operating systems.

Currently I encounter this problem on recently installed Arch linux, with basically dwm and firefox, and since I had very rough time with how unpredictable this system were so far, I don't know how much it is browser issue, so I think I should mention it.

since the last update of firefox my e mail (hot mail) attachments will not print. When print is selected the only option is to print to pdf. tried in another browser and printing works perfectly. Printing worked with no problems before last update. Help Please Please note I am a very basic user so need step by step instructions. Hoping someone can help PLEASE!

I feel this can only be corrected by an adjustment to the version, am on 122.0.1 as the latest update. My O/S Linux Mint Mate v20.0.3. Have NOT been to any schooling or even just a class for any training, all done as my curiosity has driven me to learn on my own, Self-taught and have been working with CPU`s for over 35 years, I am 84...

Getting to this point has been a rather long drawn-out process that has been a bit confusing hope this info is acceptable.

Why is mousewheel.with_control.action = 5 not the default in 2024 ? or at least an accessibility features ? I have multiple over the years had to help my older parents with `broken` website due to the actual default increasing the font size instead of behaving as a pinch and zoom

I recently updated Firefox and now I'm getting a noticeable stutter when playing back videos. I used to have this issue when I first got my steam deck so I installed a flatpak ffmpeg-full which fixed the issue completely but a recent update I installed has brought the issue back. I uninstalled and reinstalled the flatpak and restarted my device but the issue persists.

Hi, I am using Linux Zorin and have updated to a later OS but cannot reinstall my stored files because, "/home/garry/.mozilla/firefox/0czvkt76.default-release/lock". Which has confused me, I have used a Deja Dup backup which uses Duplicity files as per the Zorin programme. Duplicate files are stored in a WD ext hard drive. What can I do to recover my files pls? When I upload an image with Firefox, it typically shows a red tint. I've seen similar reports from decades ago so I disabled `gfx.color_management.mode` in `about:config`, but that didn't help, even after restarting the browser and the computer. I disabled a couple of related settings, but that also didn't help. What else could I try?

This isn't a constant issue for me, but occasionally the browser will suddenly break such that when I switch tabs, nothing actually updates until I do something like restore/maximise the window. I can still interact with the page itself, but whether using the mouse or keyboard shortcuts, changing, opening, or closing tabs, or even typing in the navigation bar, won't do anything until I resize the window again. I haven't been able to figure out any pattern to when this state triggers, but after it does, it doesn't clear up without closing and reopening the browser. I have recorded a video showing this behavior but I am unable to upload it here, and still images would not properly convey the issue.
