Help me stop the DNS log flood with connection requests to

push.services.mozilla.com

which are blocked.

dom.push.connection.enabled = false dom.push.enabled = false

Seems a tad deceptive. UI settings for notifications has none allowed and new requests blocked.

On a related note I would like instructions to have the browser cease attempted conversations with these resources

firefox.settings.services.mozilla.com shavar.services.mozilla.com content-signature-2.cdn.mozilla.net aus5.mozilla.org

All experiments disabled yet normandy.cdn.mozilla.net

If mozilla respects privacy why are not experiments opt-IN?

After SUSE-15.6 updated FIREFOX to 115.11.0esr, all sites show choppy videos. I have no idea why or what I can do to resolve the issue. If someone has an idea, it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks guys for screwing up my day with your latest update. I used to be able to download a .pdf and opening it in my ,pdf reader. I NEED to do this for tax reconciliation purposes. Now your crappy program has decided to open .pdfs in itself and I cant get a downloaded copy any more. What the hell was the programmer thinking? Yes I have gone to Applications and checked that it is set to my .pdf reader. Please fix this before I get fined by the tax office.

Please approve the update to Twitter X Ad Blocker. I've chatted with AldAstra Labs the creator and they have an update but are waiting on Firefox to approve it.

Hi, it seems that my Firefox browser does not want to save a new payment method. I'm trying to access "Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Autofill" and then click on "Saved payment methods", which opens a dialog with the existing payment methods and options to remove/add/edit. I'm clicking on Add, filling-in the card details and then clicking Save, nothing happens....

I previously had a working saved payment method, but it stopped working (I think more than 6 months ago). I tried to re-enable the credit cards by setting the following configs on about:config page:

- extensions.formautofill.creditCards.available: true
- extensions.formautofill.creditCards.supportedCountries: '...,RO' -> (I was adding my country to the existing list)

After the browser restart with those new settings when I'm on a payment page, clicking on a credit card field will show the saved credit card but if I click on it, it will not fill the details. And also trying to save a new card, manually as described previously in this message, or by the automatically prompt to save a new card after a successful payment was done. Both methods failed on me but with no error (I cannot see the saved payment on the list).

I tried removing the existing saved card, it worked removing it, but the add is still not working.

I also tried restarting in save mode, launching Firefox in a separate profile and added my country on the creditCards config for supportedCountries to show the "Saved payment methods" button on new profile, and it did not change anything.

I'm thinking there is a missing permission somewhere on the disk but I don't know where is the payment data stored on disk.

I would really appreciate any help on this.

PS: Check the attached pic to see the payment add and clicking the save button does nothing (also there are no validation errors). And the other: FF version, OS, troubleshooting info.

If you experience horizontal lines appearing when scrolling after installing firefox possible fix is finding layers.acceleration.force-enabled and set to true after going to about:config in your address bar search for this and set it to true. My real question I ask myself is, why isn't this enabled by default when installing firefox? I swear I remember doing this last Win 11 install as well. My third time installing windows unfortunately, just had a nvme ssd drive fail on me. 😭😢 Ofc, it had to be my Gen 4, C: drive with my old User account on there as well. :// Lesson learned, always backup important data frequently as desired. :( Oh well, just lost all my saved games and few songs, no big deal I guess.

Using OSX 12.7.5 on two laptops and a Mac Pro. Selling one of the laptops. Removed personal data for Firefox by 'trashing' the Firefox folder in Libaray/Application support. Then disscovered that the 'Privacy/Security' folder in both the laptop and Mac Pro were now empty. Nothing else affected. Went into TimeMachine and restored the entire Firefox folder from a recent backup. Privacy/Security folder not restored. Anyone have any ideas?

When logging into a Wordpress site on Firefox, hovering over Username displays a gear (see first screenshot) which when clicked on exposes passwords and allows them to be edited (see second screenshot). This does not happen on other browsers. I'm on Firefox 126.0, MacOS Big Sur 11.7.10

Did the URL change or smth?

No idea what the cause is but I cannot download ANYTHING on my browser for some reason. Pictures, documents, executables, browser extensions. Tried downloading documents from email attachment.. fail Tried downloading VLC... fail Tried every default recommended solution, clean install, you name it. Mind you all of these files downloaded just fine perfectly via Microsoft Edge.

Noticed another abnormality. Changed the download folder to a custom one. Download failed and DELETED the folder for some reason.

I am unable to view "Conversations" within the Yahoo Finance Stock Quote portal. This feature displays real time discussion of the security and has thousands of responses. Noticed this when using the Microsoft 365 browser that this is not a problem. My PC is a Dell with Windows 10.

Everytime I open Firefox a new window opens suggesting I add the AVG extention, when I do I get a notification that AVG does not support that extention for Firefox. Why is the nonsupported extention being recomened

I had implement service worker for install resources and activate service worker and fetch the resources at offline.

When online service worker worked and once serve the resources to the cache then it will be stooped automatically

but when offline service worker block the local host and can not cache resource from cache. I am using firefox

126 version on window 11 system

Any settings are required or help me what will do for offline working in firefox using service worker

Firefox uses about half a gig on my disk, that's: '~/.mozilla' and '~/.cache/mozilla' can that be reduced? Either some setting that limits disk use or even a manual deletion of ancient stuff?

Ridiculous with the new update page saying " A browser that's truly yours My Firefox: More Speed, More Security, More Fun." WHEN YOU CANNOT TURN OFF THE IDIOTIC popup spam for the updates NOT EVEN GOOGLE CHROME DOES THAT. And ridiculous it has to LOAD THE UPDATE after restarting the browser lag time and IDIOTIC BRIGHT SCREEN FLASHING even if you have darkmode on, JESUS CHRIST this browser seems ridiculous and FAR WORSE THAN THE OTHERS WHEN EVEN CHROME IS BETTER with these settings and not being pointlessly ridiculous rofl.
