Nach dem Update vom Oktober kann Firefox nicht mehr auf Deutsch angezeigt werden. Die Umstellung auf Deutsch in den Einstellungen haben keine Wirkung. Was ist zu tun?

The Russian language is not listed in the "To" part when I want to translate a page. Although it IS listed if the page is in Russian, so it suggests to translate from Russian to some other language. The language is installed in settings.

I have a Debian 11 VAIO laptop, with Firefox ESR 115.14.0esr 64.

I have tried the settings menus (there is nothing about translation there, not even in languages.

Tried as well the about:config (several entries).

Nothing happens, annoying auto-translation bar shows up all the time and automatically translates several languages.

Really can't stand any longer...

I've tried to install the language pack for english to have swedish and english spelling checked on my computer. I've added it like the discription mentions but it doesn't show as an option when I try to change it.

There is no Japanese in the language to which the website is translated. It is understandable that Chinese is available in the Asian region. However, we would like to ask why there is Indonesian, Vietnamese and Korean, but no Japanese.

On some sites, the translator does not allow you to select the translation language Ukrainian. It is not in the list. Although the browser language and the default language selected in Firefox is Ukrainian, in Windows OS it is also Ukrainian. And it is also strange that Ukrainian cannot be downloaded for offline translation, it is also not in the list.

Dear Mozilla Firefox Developers, I am writing to request that you consider adding Ukrainian language support to Firefox's built-in web page translation tool. The Problem Currently, Firefox lacks the ability to translate web pages into Ukrainian. Technical Feasibility Mozilla Firefox uses its own Firefox Translations tool based on machine learning technology. Given that quality machine translation systems for Ukrainian already exist (Google Translate, DeepL, and others), technical implementation of this feature is entirely feasible. Important note: If Firefox already supports Russian language, then adding Ukrainian should not present significant technical challenges, as both languages belong to the Slavic group and have similar linguistic characteristics. This makes the absence of Ukrainian even more puzzling. Our Request We ask you to consider:

Adding Ukrainian to the list of supported translation languages Ensuring quality translation from major European languages (English, German, French, Spanish, etc.) into Ukrainian Providing the ability to translate from Ukrainian into other languages

Benefits for Mozilla Adding Ukrainian language support would:

Expand Firefox's audience in Ukraine and among the Ukrainian diaspora Increase loyalty among existing users Demonstrate Mozilla's commitment to linguistic diversity and inclusivity Strengthen Firefox's market position in the region Show support for democratic values: Adding the language of people defending freedom and democracy would be positively received by the international community Make a morally correct decision: At a time when Ukraine is heroically resisting aggression, supporting the Ukrainian language would be an act of solidarity with the Ukrainian people

Do not have "Block new requests asking to access your location" checked in settings. I have deleted cookies from hulu.com and restarted firefox. Still nothing. Hulu can't help. Location works in Chrome and Edge but I refuse to use those.

When I set Firefox's language to English, the translation panel doesn't automatically appear or ask to translate other languages when I'm on English websites. I would like to request a feature that allows the translation panel to always be pinned to the search bar. Even better, if possible, it could also be pinned to the right-click context menu.

Hello, This is definitely an annoying bug because each time I right click a specific tab then "Open a new tab on the right", there's no focus on the url bar. And when I want to type something I have to bring the mouse inside the url text zone and click before typing.

It would really be a nice QoL to have.

I have a Mac desktop running Seqouia 15.1.1, and I'm using Firefox, primarily.

Inside LinkedIn, the "see more" link is missing in people's profile sections. I can;t expand any of these sections to read them in full.

They are present in Chrome. They are present on my iPhone.

I've reset everything I can think of but nothing impacts it. Also, this is a fairly new problem. So, something updated that caused this but Idk what.

The attached images give examples.

1st image (FF): Where the "..." is, a "see more" text link should also appear. 2nd image (CH): "See more" is present.

I was previously successfully using the translate selection with the translate dialog automatically detecting the language of the selected text. Then, with that dialog open, I tried changing the from/to language - you know, just messing around - and now it refuses to automatically detect the language. It is now stuck on Tranlate to French. I've checked my settings page and my default language is English. Where is it getting the idea I'm French? Annoying af.

How can I get the automatic language selection to English as it previously was?

NOTE: As I was composing this request, I visited the Amazon store - as that's where I use the feature most - and noticed it's probably the tool itself that's broken recently as it was getting it right all the time before but now it's hit or miss. Again, annoying af especially because I've come to rely on this a lot. Please fix.

Hi, I am curious to know why I can't completely remove the Dutch language in the language settings. When I installed the browser it was automatically set-up to Dutch - a language don't speak - then I was able to add English but some functions like spelling corrections are still in Dutch. I would like to get rid of it. I have the same problem with German on another computer. Thanks!
