whenever i try to open reddit it doesn't open though it takes me back to firefox homepage, i refreshed firefox and removed all the extensions but it still isn't working i have a macbook 2020 air retina and it works fine but this troubleshooting problem persists, please take a look into this

Why does PG&E (Pacific Gas & Electric) now refuse to accept login's to their website using Firefox? They claim that they no longer accept Firefox as a supported browser. Gotta use Microsoft Edge (ughh)

I run a business website, and I've been noticing significant slow loading times specifically for Firefox users. While the site works fine on other browsers, it seems that Firefox users experience delays, especially when browsing product pages or navigating through categories. Given that fast load times are critical for providing a positive user experience, I'm looking for specific recommendations to optimize my wholesale clothing website for Firefox. Could you provide any tips or best practices for improving page speed in Firefox, such as optimizing images, handling large product catalogs, improving script performance, or utilizing browser caching? I’m also open to any tools or Firefox-specific settings that might help speed up the site’s performance for my customers.

I can go to the https://www.newsmax.com website and I keep getting "Secure Connection Failed" message. I can then to to the address bar, click on the "lock" emblem (that is not locked) and choose "remove site data and cookies" Once I do that, and click on "Try Again" the website works. If I choose a new link from Newsmax, and choose open link, that link has a ! point in the tab, and go there and get the same message. Once I remove cookies and data that site and it's links work .... for a while. Then it is back to that same message "Secure Connection Failed"

Any thoughts on how to correct this? This does not seem to be an issue in Waterfox or Pale Moon, 2 other browsers I also have.

Hello and thank you for being here. I have been a Firefox user for many years. It is my preferred browser. I also use YouTube a lot. Recently, when I go to YouTube home page I get video suggestions but no search bar to search for vids. If I click on one of the videos and bring one up then the YouTube search bar appears above that video. However, this is a deal breaker for me. I am not willing to take that extra step every time I want to search for a particular video. If I open up YouTube in the Chrome browser I get the search bar which is great but pisses me off as I feel that Google has forced me to use their browser. I pay for YouTube Premium and I will cancel it if I cannot resolve the problem of the missing search bar in Firefox. I have added no extensions since well before this problem has occurred and I have searched the web for a solution to no avail. If anyone has a suggestion for how to resolve this It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

For the past 2 weeks Firefox has been repeatedly crashing soon after going on to certain sites or trying to apply my 2FA authenticator add-on.

Suddenly there's a screen shudder and a new window opens, inviting me to submit a crash report. See attached image.

I do not believe that this is down to Ubuntu 24.04 upgrade done at end of August.

But it's enough for me to largely go over to Chromium and Firefox Dev Ed.

If Mozilla don't act on this crashing I can see its market being lost fairly fast.

The master password dialog box won't go away. It does not recognize any of my previous pwd. Also using the Recovery Key to create a new pwd does not make the dialog box go away. Should I move all my data to a different browser? What about move FF to an earlier version?

BTW this is occurring on my iOS 12.7.6 Petra

I have a Dropbox Paper document that I use for my bookmarks. It lists the name of the site (with link attached) and hints as to my username/password for any given site I use.

For years, it has worked just fine, but trying to solve a different problem, something happened (in my settings?) that renders those hyperlinks non-working. When I click on, say Facebook, it formerly took me right to FB. NOW it gives me a weird yellow box in the upper right corner that says "about:blank" in the upper left of the box, and 3 white boxes at the lower right of the yellow box "Allow" "Deny" "Close." If I click on "Allow," I get a blank page. My navigation doesn't seem to recognize the links I've placed in the Doc.

A friend on FB posted a link to a YouTube video and when I clicked on that, I got the yellow box with the proper URL and a white box option to continue. I've tried to recreate that particular box, but, apparently, once it's accepted, it's OK from there on out.

I have tried deleting the link from the Paper Doc and reinstating it, and I still get the yellow box.

What have I done and how the heck do I get rid of that yellow box?

When I try to login to some of my web accounts Firefox presents several user IDs for that site and some of them are the result of past typos. What do I need to do to delete those erroneous IDs?

When going to the Settings tab, Firefox shows me the message "browser is managed by your organisation". However, I am not part of any organisation, since I am a private individual.

• What does this message mean?
• How can I remove this message and regain control over the Settings in MY Firefox?

Google Slides is very slow on Firefox compared to Chrome. It lags all the time in Firefox compared to Chrome where it runs normally.

I also notice it is using a lot more memory on Firefox compared to Chrome.
