I got a notification from Firefox to update the browser. Which is fine. But, when I tried to go to History to delete the downloads and previous months history. It will not allow me to delete the months history. It does nothing.

I hope you have a resolution for this issue. Thanks.

After the last update Cabela's and Bass Pro websites are blocked, won't connect. Teva has been blocked for over a year, and I can't find a page on here where you can instigate a trouble ticket.

Firefox has been a great browser until lately, I'm disappointed guys!

I am unable to download a bank statement pdf from my online banking, using Firefox. I AM able to downoad it using Google Chrome. I am able download OTHER pdfs on Firefox - just not my bank statements! I HAVE been able to download bank statements successfully in the past, using Firefox, but now am unable to. When I try to download statement from the bank website, firstly I get a black screen with small message saying "No preview available", and an invitation to download. On clicking Download, I'm taken to a white page saying "Error No API key found in request. request_id: a2ad87061f2bed614b1d53708d35cb26", but no further options. I've exchanged messages with my bank, who've found no solution, and advised me to look into it with you guys - ie, Firefox browsing. I've played around with Firefox settings, cookies, security settings, etc, but all to no avail.

Any clues how I can resolve this?

Hey there Mozilla team, Love the new free built-in VPN for the browser and Kit. :D But I have problems with enabling the VPN. I am on Linux Kubuntu and the VPN cannot start. Funnily enough when i turn on Mozilla VPN on device level the Browser VPN does manage the enable itself.

Also I have a question about the Mozilla VPN browser extension. Is support for Linux still being worked on? And could we see the support being implemented soon?

I'm really stumped and confused why this would be, but, I'm unable to sign in to my account on one of my devices, though I can access it from other devices.

I have a work computer and a personal computer. I want to have a profile on my personal computer signed into a an account I share on my work computer so I can easily access tabs and history across my these to devices that's separate from my main firefox account attached to my personal email. Got the profile signed in on my personal computer, went to sign in on my work computer and got a message "unexpected error." I attempted to disable the extensions and clear cache at the advice of one thread I saw from years ago but I really have had a heard time finding anyone with this issue at all.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I had a problem where FF 140.0 would not update, and in trying to get FF yo update, I used a re-install tool to which I was pointed in my problem report. This caused FF to wipe out my configuration, and I lost all my windows and tabs. I have gone to

    \Appdata\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Proifiles\abnfpged.default

cleared all of the data therein, and restored that directory from a backup I made last Monday. But I cannot get FF to use that directory. "about:profiles" shows only two profiles, but the Profiles directory has five profiles:

Only the profiles beginning with "j" and "f1" are seen in the "about:profiles" screenshot I have attached. And I have attached a screenshot of my profiles.ini file. Also, in the abnfpged.default directory I restored, where is the list of all of my open windows and tabs? FF used to keep that in a sessionstore.jsonlz4 file, but that file is only written when FF closes. I tried to save a copy when I was having problems, but I stored the copy in the same directory, which FF changed during the re-install process. Here is my profiles,.ini file:

I have not worked with the ;profiles.ini file in many years, as my FF configuration has not had problems. Thanks.

In previous versions of Firefox, using an alternative search engine was seamless: I just typed my keywords and clicked the specific search engine icon.

With the current update, the workflow is much longer. Now I have to:

1. Type the keywords 2. Click the dropdown arrow 3. Select the alternative search engine icon 4. Hit Enter

Why was this UX change made? It feels like a step backward.

I'd like to know how to hide the previews for vertical tabs in Firefox. I've already unchecked the "Show preview image when hovering over tabs" option in the settings. Is it impossible to hide them?

There have been a reoccurring problem with Firefox that seems to show up in Linux, Windows, and MacOS. When I log into icloud, I get an error message that the icloud username and password is incorrect, even though the same password has been enter in Safari and other non-firefox browser without issue.

I have tried

• Run Firefox in safe mode.
• Clear icloud site data.
• Clear all Firefox browser data.

The only fix seems to be to create a new profile, which seems to point to a profile corruption issue. The problem is that the problem return after a while.

Just found that using Iolo System Mechanic to clean up my desktop is constantly causing the loss of my bookmarks and possibly my passwords. I have tried to specify which file(s) to ignore in System Mechanic to avoid this issue, but it is not allowing me to specify the files in my Appdata folders that I suspect it is clobbering. Has anyone been successful with this? I am getting tired of restoring my bookmark files every time I use the program. My wife's computer is having the same issue, and even worse in that she has also had her entire bookmark backup files wiped clean, which required her to re-enter all of her bookmarks manually. The folks at Iolo want me to pay for support before I can get any help from them.

I face an issue with the browser crashing when in google meeting (meet.google.com). The problem persist in a new profile created with 'firefox.exe -P' and also in the troubleshooting mode. The crash is triggered when I am in the google meeting (with allowed microphone) and I manipulate with windows of the browser - across multiple monitors (switching tabs, moving tabs between windows, closing firefox windows, opening them, "dropping" the tabs onto another applications - chrome, spotify - which opens a new firefox window). Sometime the crash happened once I closed the google meeting tab. Unfortunately it happens "randomly" and I was not able to come with a specific series of steps to reproduce the crash. But it happens always when I am in the meeting and play with the windows for a while.

The crash: Firefox freezes for a few seconds (~3s) and then closes itself - all windows. %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\pending contains a new .dmp file, but it has 0 bytes and no .extra file is created, hence it cannot be submitted via about:crashes. The crash reporter is not opened when firefox crashes. The attached troubleshooting information are from the new clear profile where the crash happens as well.

Sometimes I need to open XML files on my PC or in a network folder. If I open the file in the first tab in Firefox, it displays a neat and formatted rendering that makes it easier to read. However, if I open yet another tab, it displays a sequential text file that's difficult to read. How can I apply the style of the first tab to all open tabs? I've attached explanatory images (I hope). The second image shows how I'd like the XML file to always be displayed, regardless of the tab's position. Firefox 149.0.2 on windows 11

HI i have an ASUS-VivoBook laptop that has an intel i5 10th gen and geforce mx250 with 8gb ddr4 ram when i use firefox it uses about 550 mb ram alone on one page only is that supposed to happen ? if not how can i reduce my ram usage and power usage from settings and thank you for this amazing web browser i realy like the animated castle town from deltarune theme i am never going back to chrome THANKS ALOT

I have just setup a new desktop computer which has the latest versions of Firefox and AVG Free.

Firefox is not working properly, sometimes not completely loading pages, images or is not loading pages at all.

If I disable the AVG Web Shield Setting “Enable QUIC/HTTP3 scanning” then Firefox behaves normally.

The build of AVG Free is 26.3.10886.974 and the version of Firefox is 149.0.2.

I have been using Firefox profiles for years, long before the announcement of the new profiles UI. The new profiles UI launhed with FF 144. I'm on the latest version, which is 149.0.2 and I still don't have the new UI. Specifically, I do not see my profiles in the new UI.

When FF launches I see the new UI but my profiles are nowhere to be see as you can see in the screenshots:

I have 2 profiles and they each have their own name.

Instead I am presented with 2 option "Original Profile" and "create new Profile". When I click on orignal profile, Firefox opens my default profiles which has its own original name. However, when go throught the new UI o switch profiles, I do not see my other profile. Moreover, if I click manage profiles, I don't see either of my profiles.

The only way I am able to launch my 2nd profile is the old fashiong via "about:profiles".

Why can't I see my profiles in the new UI?

On my 2nd profile, I don't even have the new profiles UI.

Why dont't I have the new profiles UI months after you launched it?

Please help!
