Hi! I recently lost my old laptop and I'm trying to setup my new laptop without a backup. I was logged into my mozilla account on my old browser before I lost it, but I'm not seeing any of my old tabs, bookmarks, and extensions from my old browser syncing to my new browser. Is there anything I can do to retrieve this data without having access to my old laptop? Thank to anyone who can help!

My passwords are saved to my android phone, and home PC but I am trying to get them into my work PC and they will not show up. I had a master password turned on briefly but it was not functioning how I wanted it (enter the master password before it would put any of the other passwords in instead of once on start up). Now I turned the master password off, sync is turned on for both the android browser and the work pc, the phone has the passwords but the pc does not.

Hello, when I first switched from google chrome to Firefox I could not figure out how to create one browser with two profiles like I had with chrome. So I went to about:profiles and created two separate browsers not realizing you all had an option to create two profiles under one browser. I finally figured out how to have to profiles under one browser by going here https://www.tech2geek.net/how-to-use-the-new-updated-profile-manager-in-firefox-2025/#google_vignette but I can not figure out how to sync the google chrome profile that I had previously to this new profile under the same browser. How do I sync this? I hit sync and nothing changed. I am signed in and I can not figure out how to get the browser profile to sync with this new profile under one browser. I really hate how Firefox named both of these Profiles because it is extremely hard to explain this situation.

I reinstalled the operating system, so to speak, changed my device. I clicked the sync button and it worked. I reinstalled the operating system and reinstalled the browser. I logged in, nothing happened. I rebooted, nothing changed. I clicked sync, everything was the same. Where are my bookmarks and passwords?

When following the instruction to sync bookmarks on Android phone it leads me to items that are not there. Open Firefox mobile on phone. Ok. Hit the 3 dots drop down. Ok. Choose sync and save. Not there? I click my email and it shows sync. I click that and it shows the last time I sync my phone. 0 minutes. Ok. It shows a QR code to scan from the Firefox app. It instructs to click ready to scan. That's not there either. If instructions lead you down paths that are not present, the instructions are useless. Anyone else having this experience? Thanks..........

i recently had to get a new computer and had set up sync for everything however when i logged in to my new device none of my synced data was saved is there any way to get this data back i have passwords that i need that firefox forced me to use a secure generated and saved ones that i dont know

Hello, my old laptop broke. I bought a new one, installed Firefox, and signed into my Firefox account. My add-ons synced, but my passwords and bookmarks are gone. I can't access the old laptop now. Is there a way to fix this without a backup file? Or are add-ons the most I can get? Both devices have been added to the devices in the Firefox account.

Lately I installed a new PC, and tried to download FireFox and sync my data. But my data seems like a few years ago, not as new as another PC I have now. I'm sure I have logged in with same account on them, how's this happend?

My syncing my desktop to my Android phone has stopped. When I try to sync, nothing happens. I'm trying to sign in and you system keeps on telling me to check my Microsoft Authenticator, but nothing happens there (on the phone) and I don't see authenticator on my desktop. I got a new tablet and synced my Fire fox but did it from the new device so it removed all my pinned shortcuts from my other computers. How can I recover my shortcut settings? What is the correct way to sync other devices to the one you have as the main one?
