XUL Runner platform version 129.01 is not compatible with 129.0 miniversion 129.0 maxversion 129.0 When this happened at first I did not have the use of Firefox. I then went to Firefox and down downloaded Firefox and started over. Then I went to go to my bookmarks and could not find them, bummer. Now I still get this XUL Runner message ??????? email guybrochu@yahoo.com

Recently had to get my phone repaired and did a backup beforehand (and Firefox sync was on) but when I restored my data Firefox was empty, all tabs gone. Is there any way to get them back? And if not, any way to prevent this in the future? (I did look into my history, there are no previous tabs closed)

I changed my password in my Mozilla account and now I can no longer sync my firefox for android.

I scan the QR code and on my android screen proceeded normal and asking me to confirm but in my desktop I get an error.

"General application error Something went wrong. Try again later."

I also tried in safe mode with no luck.

What to do now?

I just created an account to sync my passwords and bookmarks from an old Macbook to a new one. I can see both devices on the Mozilla account but the Sync does not work. Nothing appears in my bookmarks.

So.... I ended up getting a new laptop and I signed in on my mozilla account and it turns out I have lost everysingle bookmarks/saved stuff / passwords etc....

Now... the thing is I do not have my old laptop anymore cause it doesn't even turn on.. I did not make a backup cause I thought all this information is saved online...

What do I do now to get my old stuff back???

I have used Firefox for a long time. I have many bookmarks, passwords etc on Firefox on my original PC.

Sadly the hard drive on my original PC has failed. I borrowed a laptop temporarily and signed into Firefox on that. My bookmarks did not transfer across and instead I had someone elses bookmarks but I wasn't too concerned as I was only borrowing the laptop.

I now have a new PC. I have restored my files from a backup external drive and I have signed into Firefox on this PC. However, all of my tabs and bookmarks have not come across. I have pressed sync but it has brought the bookmarks over from the laptop and not the bookmarks from my original PC.

How can I sync to the original PC that has all my bookmarks etc please? Or have I lost it all forever?

Due to a recent major security breach I started changing all of my passwords on my main desktop, I did not have sync on at the time. I then opened up my work laptop (again unsynced) and decided I should really use the sync feature to transfer my 500+ passwords onto my laptop for when I travel.

When I got home that evening, I turned on the sync feature on my main desktop, unfortunately it pulled all of my compromised passwords from my laptop and overwrote the ones on my main desktop. Is there anyway to restore my pre-sync passwords and ensure that they get transferred to my laptop instead please.

I had a Firefox debian version installed on my desktop running Ubuntu Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS and now I just installed the latest 143.0.1 "Mozilla Firefox Flatpak" version.

How can I synchoronized or migrate all my data such as bookmarks, add-ons, open tabs, settings for syncing ?

I have two notebooks with Firefox (NB1 and NB2). NB2 rebooted and Firefox restarted losing all open tabs; now I would like to bring the tabs from NB1 to NB2; both have synchronisation enabled, but when I go to ‘Settings, synchronisation’ on NB2 it says ‘Synchronising in progress’ and nothing happens. I've also tried going to NB1 and sending a tab to NB2; I select NB2 and nothing happens.

Hello! I synced my browsing data yesterday by signing in to firefox account and reset my OS(window 10) to improve my laptop's speed. When I am trying to get back my browsing data back after resetting and installing firefox by signing in to my firefox account and pressing the Sync Now button then its not giving me my browsing data back. Why is it so? Need Help. Thank You!!

I have a Firefox account in order to use the sync capabilities. After a sync between desktop and phone the desktop bookmarks are on my phone in an extra folder "desktop bookmarks" and vice versa the phone bookmarks are in folder "Mobile bookmarks" in my desktop Firefox. Is this normal behaviour? I would expect them in one common folder to have a seamless synching.

So I reformatted my computer today, but the process allowed me to keep all my personal files. I had made a backup in my appdata for all my passwords and bookmarks like Firefox allows when you're in Manage Passwords or Manage Bookmarks. After the formatting, I sign into my Firefox account, and it Syncs almost immediately. When I go into my appdata, the profile has been overwritten by the new sync, meaning all my passwords and bookmarks are now no longer available. Is there legitimately anything I can do??

Add old history to new

cor-el mentioned "The only way to merge history is by using Sync".

Does "merge" mean like it sounds, to combines the content, or does it mean the latest will overwrite the oldest, or one will overwrite the other under other conditions?

Sadly, I am now forced to leave firefox. My passwords are getting "forgotten" more and more each day. Did i get hacked? Few passwords like proton mail I don't actually have anywhere else. Auto-Backup of firefox seems to be of the same day as the original??? So it loses the data then saves it twice? who designed this? I'm angry, not at firefox/mozilla. angry at myself for putting my trust in the first place. Chromium doesn't sync so it leaves me with chrome FFS. Does someone has a magic wand to recover the lost data? login.json is same day as original so not an option.

I sync tabs with multiple devices, but I cannot get my tabs to sync with my iPad. I have tried scanning the QR code from my desktop browser. I have tried entering the password. The process never finishes on the iPad, even after the desktop browser said the process was complete.

Hi. I want to sync with my work pc (it used to work just fine but when I synced to a newer third pc- successfully- it just stopped). When i try to sign in on the work pc it asks me for the primary password which it then FAILS to recognise to allow me to proceed! What's going on? I can't even log onto sites with saved passwords anymore. Any help appreciated.

I have Mac, Windows, and Linux boxes. All show connected to Firefox Sync, however, bookmarks etc are only actually in sync between Windows and Linux. I've tried logging out on all devices, resetting passwords, reinstalling FF on the Mac. Can't seem to get it to work.

Hello! I have a serious problem. I lost access to my data because I changed my password, so my data is no longer synchronized. I reinstalled my Windows, and I forgot the old password I had on that Windows. As I reinstalled, I decided to change the password because I didn't remember it, but after that I found out that synchronization doesn't work. Please help me, I had very important bookmarks that were there. Thanks in advance!
