I recently switched to mozilla from chrome. I tried to import everything from chrome. But it could not import the saved password. Can you help me identify the cause that is preventing login details import from chrome?

I also cannot upload images using Firefox to Messenger. The large purple image is a result of an upload, but it should be a picture of a woman saved from Krita.

I tried a setting called "Refresh Firefox" and that fixed it but only for less than a day. whats going on?

I want to import web page bookmarks from MS Edge. I tried to do it per the settings help page, but I cannot get my firefox bookmarks to populate with the ones from my Edge browser. This problem is a deal breaker that may send me (under duress) back to MS Edge, and I really don't want that.

I have change to a new PC and i could not renember my password. I have to get acces to my account by a link to reset my passeword. After that I can not import my bookmarks to the new pc.

Not sure when I download Firefox to new PC ,How do settings I currently have in place transfer to new browser installation?

Also I have bookmarks on a memory card,Will they install to firefox by placing it in drive slot of my new windows11 machine?

Hello, I just used the Firefox 141.0 (aarch64) wizard for Raspberry Pi OS 1.0, to import bookmarks from Brave, however the wizard said 0 bookmarks imported.

I also manually exported and imported the bookmarks.html file and the latest bookmarks aren't appearing at the top. It seems the bookmarks are nested in some bookmarks directory by default. I'm confused?

Also I tried a manual import several months ago but same issue about some strange nesting structure rather than simply appearing at the top. Now I'm really confused and worried I'll lose my bookmarks as there's about 3 version in various nested structures. Please help just make an easy move to Firefox.

My bookmarks in Chrome do not import into Firefox. I've Tried importing right from the Chrome browser and importing with an HTML file. No success with my bookmarks. I was able to import an extension, but I deleted it as that isn't my focus. I've checked the HTML file and it does have content (viewed in NotePad). I've looked in all the Bookmark options, but nothing imported there. I paused my NordVPN, no change. I've rebooted my desktop nothing changed. I'm running the latest updated version of Win 11.

Please advise.

Hi, I cannot import my Firefox bookmarks from my macbook pro 2021 to my macbook pro 2024. When I select "import data", only Safari show up, not Firefox, which has been my default browser for many years. Please help me, thanks, cindi

Your instructions for migrating passwords from Safari to Firefox are outdated, ex.: there is no "Preferences" option, and no "..." to export

My Safari version on Macbook Pro is: Version 18.5 (20621.2.5.11.8) And my Macbook Pro runs: Sequoia 15.5

Installed ff on new C drive and trying to import my profile from replaced, working drive. Got as far as pasting previous folder into new one and see new files were added. Both drives W10. But clicking bookmarks and passwords gets "nothing saved." Cannot decipher folder contents, & without details it's a dead end.

Likewise there is a page here on "importing bookmarks from another browser", with a link. It opens to window where you can look for the file. Same problem, not knowing where bookmarks are. Is there a place to find details on what profile folders and files store. Or am I missing something else? Thanks for assist. -- PS Images could be added if any purpose.
