I'm getting announcements of a virus threat that purports to come from Mozilla Firefox. Usually one or all three of the attached small windows that say: 1. "Viruses Found. Antivirus notification. via https+++d512ucanaffc739fe48g.cgm-defender.pro" With a Dismiss button. 2. Attention! Click here to secure your data!. via https+++d512ucanaffc739fe48g.cgm-defender.pro" With a Dismiss button. 3. "System Warning!. Click here to remove them! via https+++d512ucanaffc739fe48g.cgm-defender.pro" With a Dismiss button. I have run full scans and offline scans with MS Defender, but these warnings still appear. Is this legit? I suspect these are a virus of some sort. Either way, how do I deal with this?

I have a new laptop and am using Firefox as my browser. But when I'm on Facebook, go to chats it says that video chat isn't supported by this browser. Does Firefox not allow this? I've tried going to permissions to allow Facebook to access my camera and microphone, but unable to do so. How do I use the video chat feature in Facebook chats?

Despite having the setting "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" selected, CTRL-Tab has suddenly stopped cycling tabs in the most recently used order. Firefox behaves as if the setting is disabled. This is the third time I've experienced this issue in the past year, and every time the only solution that worked was to create a new profile. It is exhausting to get a new profile back to exactly how the old profile was, and it's something I shouldn't have to do.

Scenario: I am on Windows 11 (though I think this has also happened to me on Windows 10), currently using version 146.0.1 (though this has happened on previous versions). CTRL-Tab cycles in the most recently used order just fine for several months, then it suddenly doesn't—this happens in the middle of an active session, i.e., not after a restart of the browser nor the computer itself. I have four add-ons, none of which control tab cycling, nor have I added/removed any add-ons nor changed any of their settings since their initial installation many months ago.

What I've tried:

• Disabling/re-enabling the setting (even though it is already checked)
• Disabling/re-enabling the config browser.ctrlTab.sortByRecentlyUsed
• Restarting Firefox normally
• Restarting with add-ons disabled—note that the issue persists even with add-ons disabled
• Disabling the setting, then restarting Firefox, then re-enabling the setting
• Restarting the computer

It's the same thing described in this Reddit thread. What else can I try?

I received an email from breach-alerts@mozilla.com informing me that Mozilla Monitor⁩ discovered a data breach that includes my personal information: Unfortunately, I don't know if this is a legitimate email from Mozilla. Can anyone confirm if it is or is not?

Hi, Since three or four months, whenever I log into Outlook live, either on Mac or Windows PC, I get a security warning saying that the information will not be secure (Please see attachment.) When I log into the same account, from Edge for example, I do not get the warning popup. I really enjoy using Firefox and would love to continue but this case is worrying me a bit. Any idea to help? My selected topic "settings" actually does not really describe my tabs problem. Even though I followed instructions for entering "about:unloads" the expected webpage did not appear. All I got was the same instructions and not a page that included the table and its unload button that was said to be above it. When I select the New Page tab and right click and then select three tabs, the right-click menu only shows the option to "close three tabs." There is not an option to unload three tabs. Yikes! And when I select one tab and click on the one option to unload one tab, the selected tab does not unload. The tab does not unload. The tab does not unload. It is still there. (???) This is very frustrating! I can only close tabs. So far I can only temporarily close them. Could the problem be that I am still using Windows 10? Please advise. Thanks for reading about my problem of not being able to unload my unwanted tabs.

My bookmarks side bar font changed color from black to white, how do I get it back to black?

I can't seem to find where the font color is available to change colors.

I want to erase the username and password for my Amazon account. I prefer to sign in manually. I turned off auto fill in settings, but when I want to shop on Amazon and attempt to sign in, Mozilla no longer autofills but it does provide my username which is my e-mail account. I want the popup window to be blank for my username and my password. The only way I can imagine is to stop Mozilla from "memorizing" this information. Is it possible for me to do that?

I have a warning underneath my bookmark ribbon that says, "The security sandbox is disabled. Your configuration is unsupported and less secure." What is the security sandbox and what configuration is needed so that it supports the security sandbox. What happens if this security sandbox is disabled while I'm running Firefox?

cleaning up my computer, I accidentally deleted firefox. I had a list of favourite links, and I lost them. Is there any way of recovering my list of favourites?
