Hello!

I first installed Video Download Helper several weeks ago and it worked fine. However, since the update of 04 March, 2026, it no longer works with YouTube. (It does, however, still work with Instagram.) Having checked all of the settings (which I had/have not changed), I uninstalled it today and then re-installed it. This hasn't helped. With YouTube, the Downloader icon (pinned to toolbar) simply remains grey and does not show any videos when opened. I am using the latest, fully updated version of Firefox with Windows 10.

Can anyone help, please?

AI "summaries" or "explanations" have been popping up in front of actual useful text that I want to read. How do I disable this AI summarizer or turn it off? If this removes an AI chatbot, even better.

What is the correct approach to establish a customized Startpage search profile excluding all Wikimedia Foundation sites? What is the proper setting to create a persistent and customized search engine configuration that excludes all Wikimedia Foundation domains even after an operating system update or reinstallation? Is it permitted to manually manage a customized search engine?

I have been advised to utilize an add-on or create a dedicated profile.

What would be the most suitable solution in my case, and the one that will be the most effective and stable ?

It is unfortunate that mozilla-firefox does not appear to offer a 'blacklist' or exclusion list feature, as that would be the most direct approach to excluding the Wikimedia Foundation websites from the search results.

All of my addons are disabled and won't re-enable!

They all say "addon name" could not be verified for use in Nightly and has been disabled. See attachment clipboard00.jpg

If I try to install an addon from the recommended extensions settings (for example "return youtube dislike ") I get a message bubble stating "The Addon downloaded from this site could not be installed because it appears to be corrupt. {OK!}" See attachment clipboard01.jpg

The message above about addons appearing to be corrupt happens if I go to any of my current addon pages and try to redownload them.

Dear Sir,

Firefox is not working with Rabby Wallet and Metamask extensions.

It does no pop-up the window to see the transaction and sign it. Firefox 134.0.1 (64-bit). Windows 10 Home.

On Metamask at least I can click on the pinned extension and see the window. However it´s not the expected behavior, because it should open the pop-up automatically. With Rabby wallet it is impossible to proceed, even clicking on the extension icon.

Please fix it.

I have no idea where the ad blocker is here on Firefox and cannot turn it off when I need to. It is crazy that it is so difficult to find AD BLOCKER - I find articles that say how to do it but they make no sense because I try to follow and it still does not work. I need to know how to turn off the ad blocker - especially when I want to use Rakuten - I cannot never use it because I cannot manage my ad blocker when I need to

Why have ratings of reviews on Amazon disappeared and how do I restore that feature? I do not see a price tag in the upper righthand corner. I'm running Firefox on a PC w/Windows 10.

I PAID for "dark reader" I got the activation key but I cannot activate it because the instructions says go to "MORE" and there is NO "MORE"! I hunted all over the settings & extension & themes, but I cannot find anyplace to activate this extension. Did I just waste my money? I have poor vision, I NEED a dark page with white letters. I would like to know how to erase them entirely since i dont use them and they are eating memory.

I haven't added a new extension in quite a while and can't remember how to pin it to the toolbar. I've tried clicking on settings and the ... icon, with the extension both open and closed, but can't find "Pin to Toolbar" anywhere. Can someone refresh my memory?

What version of Firefox actually allows you to add extensions? I'm running the most current version of Tumbleweed that ships with 144.0. Attempts to add extensions just sit there doing nothing until I close the tab. This sort of worked some time ago (I forget the version) but the inability of Firefox to allow add-ons/extensions is getting to be a joke. There are other browsers out there, ya know.

I want to use the AI sidebar (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ai-chatbot) and context menu to query my own chatbot. How to add my own chatbot(s) there?
