Greetings support team. The problem is a bit complicated and I could't find anything similar to it on the net, so I'll try to explain in details what happened. One day after opening the browser I noticed that it didn't launch(there was no window). After opening it again I saw that all of my previously opened tabs were gone. After that I closed Firefox and went to check the task manager. I found that Firefox was still running after closing it. I couldn't wrap my head around it and killed the programm. Then I opened it again and got the same results: first launch: no Firefox window(nothing on the taskbar either), secound launch: one empty tab. After that I opened a new tab in Firefox through task manager and my screen "swiped right", I got access to Firefox window with all of my previous tabs, but all the other programms I had opened on the taskbar were gone. Somehow Firefox opens outside my screen on a "separate one" every first time I launch the app, and the only way to switch between "screens" is to open a new tab through task manager or launch a program that was previously active to switch back to previous "screen". It is also impossible to switch between opened windows on different "screens" using gestures on the touchpad or "Alt" + "Tab". I use a laptop and never even tried to attach/connect a second monitor. I don't have another monitor attached via bluetooth or any other means in device manager. I have the latest verion of windows 10 installed and updated. I have another PC, where I use the same Firefox with the same addons on the same Mozilla account, which has no such issues. I have tried renaming the file called "xulstore.json" to "xulstore.old" or deleting it entirely, this didn't resolve the issue.

bookmarks toolbar under address bar broken setting set correctly for it to be there and there is a blank space for it to be there but none of my bookmarks that are in that folder show up changing the settings make the blank bar disappear and come back see screenshot.

Firefox home page is missing even though it is set to display just get blank screen on both new tabs and at start up of browser even though it is set to show Firefox start screen.

now every time i start Firefox it demands my master password for my passwords? just hitting cancel makes it go away though.

right click copy only works like 1/4 the time allot of the time the even though the text is highlighted copy is greyed out but using control+c usually works. that one has been happening a wile though.

Even though I have browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled set on "false", private windows appear separate regardless and it is bothering me. I restarted my browser, logged out and then back in, toggled the setting on and off again, but the damn thing stays in this uncomfortable spot that would be awkward to explain as opposed to simply having it blend in with the other windows innocuously. How do I fix this?

The icon for private browsing has recently re-appeared on my taskbar despite having browser.privateWindowSeparation.enabled set to false in about:config.

I've had this setting configured ever since the update which completely changed the appearance/behavior or private browsing and it has worked correctly up until today (14/06/24).

Is there a new setting that I have to adjust in order to "merge" the windows together as I'm not a fan of having the private browsing icon on my taskbar.

When I open my emails, I get an automatic default to email REPLY. I cannot open my emails for reading and attachments. Also, I no longer get the time of the email listed. How do I restore my settings?

I'd like to know if there is a way to remove firefox relay from the context menu, as per screenshot. I really like the relay icon on the email fields, but I don't want it to show on the context menu and I found no such option on the relay extension. Is there a solution to this?

My Windows 10 Pro laptop computer crashed a couple of days ago and no longer works. I am considering replacing it with a new Macbook Air. My files are backed up with Carbonite. Will I be able to get my saved passwords back by restoring my Firefox profile to the proper folder on the Mac? (I already know that Carbonite's backup program will not do a "file restore" between Mac and Windows; I will likely be paying Carbonite an extra $100 so they can put my files on an external drive and ship i to me.) | (I have a lot of the passwords saved in Safari on my iPhone and old iPad mini 2, but there are some I did not want to save on the mobile devices. They are also not on the much older Windows laptop I am currently using. Therefore, I cannot access certain sites right now unless I am willing to change the passwords.)

On my computer Firefox ask for the master password every time at startup. On other computers in my family, Firefox only ask for the Master Password when accessing a site with a password. I tried : - to disable than reenable Master Password - start in SafeMode without success. How can I solve my issue ? Thanks in advance for your help

Something happened with your new update, and now my computer is not working. i cannot get my emails to come even though i choose the email button. The wheel just keeps turning and turning, and will not ever get to the emails. The same thing happens when i try other favorites buttons on the top of the page. i do not know the correct words to describe what i am trying to say because i am not tech savvy at all. i am a senior citizen who needs my computer to work again. What has happened? i do not understand any of the directions given to me when you have answered me today. i do not understand the details! i am very frustrated right now, and have spent a lot of my day trying to get my computer working the way it did yesterday. What has happened?

since the last update, the shortcut keys to highlight a word at a time left OR right are both highlighting the next word AND also jumping to the last tab. AGAIN! I noticed this was identified as a problem back around 2019 in a search. I now cannot move fluidly within text, nor highlight a word at a time quickly. Either it's whole line or simply a letter at a time... which results in a pretty incompetent, crippling experience. PLEASE FIX!!

Hello. I have an issue with Firefox. Last week Facebook stopped showing images when run on Firefox. These are in the Feed and photos, etc. I tried refreshing, clearing cookies, history and cache. I changed enhanced tracking but nothing stops this. Are there any suggestions to repair this or could it be a bug? I work on Windows 10. Please help.

This has occurred recently after I had a very short power outage. Firefox has been acting weird ever since.

My display is too big now and I lose parts of webpages in the "edges"? Search bar when I first sign on shows 120%. How do I get back to 100%? Please no technical jargon. If I can't fix this,will have to quit using Firefox.

FIRST PROBLEM (I have been unable to submit a help request from https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/mozilla-account/form)

Windows 10, fully updated with the latest firefox version. Email program is MS Outlook through my employer. Email notifications are overwhelmingly loud if the global volume is sufficient for viewing content. Playing with the volume mixer doesn't help. I have searched for solutions online, and every suggested fix entails features or options that are not available on my system. Please provide complete instructions for Windows 10. Please respond to lanzcc@potsdam.edu
