Concerning App permissions
I want to know why FF would need me to grant the app rights to take photos and video without my knowledge or permission!? I love FF, however i will not install it so long as FF keeps this in the app permissions! Would a FF official please address this question. I will continue to use Chrome, begrudgingly, until this policy is changed.

yes exactly, this can be used for video/audio chats without the need for further plugins in the browser. you can visit a demo page which makes use of these capabilities at https://apprtc.appspot.com/ (there you'll also see how firefox alerts you and asks for your permission before any audio/video capturing is turned on).

hello, this is used for modern web capabilities like webrtc which offers peer-to-peer encrypted communication channels. due to androids permission model it is necessary to get all these permissions upfront instead of at the time when they are really needed, but firefox will of course never automatically capture audio or video form your device but you are always asked if you want to activate those once a site wants to make use of the capabilities. chrome is using the same permissions btw...
