The message appears in a box, with the heading called Security Warning. Then reads:

Do you want to run this application? An unsigned application from the location below is requesting permission to run. Locations: http://xxx.xx.xx.xxx Running unsigned applications like this will be blocked in a future release because it is potentially unsafe and a security risk. Select the box below, then click run to start the application.

hello paul, this message is coming from the java plugin itself and not from firefox: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/appsecuritydialogs.xml

unfortunately i'm not aware of any way to turn them off permanently for a certain site but you might want to try oracle's support - maybe they can be of better assistance.

Hi Philipp,

You're correct, however, it doesn't show on any other web browser. I can contact them and see what they say, though I can't image they'd reply.
