pixilated fading text till unreadable on any webpage new installation
I am running a new downloaded firefox and am still getting the problem of the web pages text fades to unreadable in a few seconds making firefox useless on my home computer running windows 7 and a raedon hd 4800 video card. I have tried firefox every couple of months as it is great on my other vista computers , only my windows 7 computer can run any other browser except firefox. Shame as I like to use it as my main browser. How are all other browsers fine?

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
