Hi, Just a few hours ago, firefox has updated itself to the new version, 20.0. After restarting, it seems all working fine. But when I did right clicking to view the context menu (and copy image location), I saw a long list, with options like "Pause", "Play", "Mute" and so on.

Here is a shot: http://2imgs.com/2i/i/515c6224/79903d27bae38742936c6eea68084f43/d1af1c36e5.f.png

被選擇的解決方法

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.

(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)

  • You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
  • Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.

To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.

When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.

I do not seem to be able to see your image. Note it should be possible to attach images directly to posts on this forum. Use the add images option underneath where you type messages.

I am not sure what you are asking exactly. You have options available and they display when you right click, is that not the expected result.

If you rightclicked on video, it may have the play pause and mute.

Could you provide the website link and Screenshot as (John99) said.

Thanks John99 and iamjayakumars. I have attached the screenshot.

@iamjayakumars: no, I did right click on an image, or a white space in page (no media). for example, if I right click on your avatar, I see "Play", "Unmute", "Add to Dictionary" and lot more options. But when I click on one of them, it doesn't do any works (nothing happens), even when I click on an image option, like "Reload Image" or "Open Image in new tab".

Thanks iamjayakumars; In safe mode, no problem. I checked extensions then... Firebug 1.10.6 was the problem. When I disabled it, all worked fine. Now upgrade Firebug to latest version (1.11.2) and context menu looks fine.

Thanks all supporters, again.

With new version (1.11.2) I have no problem. I just upgraded it. ;)

I have version 1.11.3 and still had the issue of the super-long right-click menu along with the inability to right-click -> open in new tab or window.

Removing and reinstalling firebug solved the issue.

IMPORTANT EXTRA NOTE: All of what is said above ended up helping me EVEN THOUGH I did not have Firebug in my browser. I MIGHT have had it at one point, but removed it. However, it was the cause of this problem.

I INSTALLED Firebug and then REMOVED IT and the problem was fixed!!!
