Firefox won't print webpages correctly. The pdf comes out blurry but fine using Safari browser. Apple store could not figure out what the problem is. All plugin's and java are up to date. This has happend since switching over to Mac from PC.

I found out the problem. Very simply put it was because I changed the default font to Century Gothic. By changing back to windows default font I did a preview pdf print test and it's not blurry. Now i'm playing around with different fonts to see what will work best. So far I have Arial and Times New Roman both work fine.

Wow, the bold text is a mess. Two thoughts:

(1) Could you try disabling Firefox's use of hardware acceleration? Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.

You usually need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Firefox > Preferences > Advanced

On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"

If you restart Firefox, is the issue resolved or at least improved?

(2) Are you overriding Google's default font in those examples? It doesn't look like the font that shows up in Firefox for Windows.
