Well, for your FB account being hacked, it is possible that you have a virus on your PC that enabled someone to steal your FB password. Either that or you fell victim to phishing.

A for your Firefox issues, if you install Firefox 12, do you still have them? If you do, Try to start Firefox in Safe mode. This mode disables all extensions, user customizations, hardware acceleration, etc. temporarily for diagnostic and troubleshooting. If Firefox works fine in Safe Mode, then this is likely an add-on issue. Restart Firefox in normal mode, then type "About:addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions one by one, restarting Firefox between each one, until you find the trouble maker. Once you do, you can disable that add-on and report the issue to that add-on's developer.

A few other basic trouble shooting things you can try is this: Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.

Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers.

Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.

Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.

Tyler.....my problem Mine is a Facebook problem as well! I just looked at Tools.....and there are all sorts of certificates that do not belong there!!!!! I was in a contant conversation with the support team of a game I play on Facebook.......I could not receive credit gifts and other items from my inbox & this went on all last weekend. On Sunday I noticed a friend on my team I had not friended, played with posing as and an employee of FB....between you and I Facebook Security....people in my game talk about FB jail my team has grown rather rapidly but I take notes but I ask a fellow friend and teammate if I should be concerned and in all caps he says He is a hacker. I am positive he is wrong as a fellow teammate who I occasionally play another game with is a high level and I have his entire family on my team...he insists this person is a hacker because he was a victim. I run my Avira anti-virus in Expert mode down to root kits (which searches for .rtf* files important). Everything is okey dokey says avira:). The following day I open my inbox to find a four leaf clover I have had the worst couple days its known for luck I need this item when you close your inbox you get to brag and it shows the city collection nothing and I notice part of the page isn't loaded and I see a script running along the bottom of the page that says status update which scares me to death I open my profile in Ireland no clover....I check my other cities with HTG items I AM WIPED OUT now because I didn't get my credits and had a constant conversation with support and actually paid for credits using paypal don't I have a claim with the FCC or Homeland Security????......I unfriended them I changed my password all the things you told the girl before......however the scripts they wrote I saw them in wordpad had parimeters to by pass Avira!!!!! I was hacked before when my teenager's pc was being fixed I told him Facebook was evil. They changed my firefox settings. Installed a Command bar I found that today. Hacked me through Java, Adobe and Microsoft Silverlight they set up a homegroup I didn't belong. I can't delete any of these files as I don't know how to change permissions in Windows the instructions go round and round and round. I was on Microsoft's website for 3 hours last night trying to get help to no avail. I need a new email I can't change any settings on Facebook no matter what I do they are still there until I hit the gear bar and found their nasty scripting and hit inspect element and copied and pasted it and then their command line said flyout. In October when I was hacked I paid him $150 (my laptop on black Friday $350) I could have hit one key recovery myself and lost all the programs I wanted to save Microsoft office containing my resume and all my recommendation letters etc. My antivirus sent a repair program......which after it ran it told me to restart my computer....it was completely black!!!!!!! Like we were back in the days of dos you look too young to know what that is!!!!! This person when I went to report them on Facebook he has 1900+ FB friends playing the same game (only BingoBlitz players) & 150+ are on my team.....hacked thru Itunes too.....Ipad/pod/phone licences are .rft files and they hack using playlists....the command lines were in languages I do not recognize and the certificates on my firefox I believe some maybe foreign but one line I recognize THIRDPARTYREglADME that is plain english. The majority of my team must be playing on an Apple Product. It is a weekend. I do not know where to turn. I am afraid to turn my computer off. When I went to check my plug ins it said Java is turned off for my security. I had a McAfee on my browserbar it says everything is fine but afg search says risky/dangerous. I dont know where to go!!!!
