Cannot find new downloads
99.9% of the time, I cannot find new downloads even though it says download was successful. The new downloads are nowhere to be found, not in Recent Downloads, not in Programs, nowhere. This makes Firefox unusuable, frustrating, and inferior to other browsers. If this cannot be solved, I will quit Firefox. Thanks.

It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
