when using ctrl and selecting item it opens a new page and not a tab anymore
When using facebook games I use ctrl and click on the get item and this would open a tab and I could open many tabs but now when I do it it opens a page and I am having to do it one at a time. This has only happened in the last few days. How do I solve this problem please? I have checked the settings and the box is checked for opening new tabs

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
