I just upgraded to Firefox 8. I like to enter my own web-site information into the location/address bar. I'm old-fashioned - I started using the web when one had to do this. When I enter the URL, the location/address bar allows me to enter "h", but as soon as I enter the first "t" of "http", the bar turns it into "wt". I run various fixes to the incredibly slow and cumbersome location bar to keep it from trying to be smarter than I am ever since that idiotic feature was introduced. Currently I run Old Location Bar 2.1.6 and oldbar 1.2 - these at least prevent the five minute wait while the ridiculous scripts grind away trying to search my very large history. Who tests these features^h^h^h^h^h^h^h^hbugs? Morons who only browse to one gateway and have no history?
