Using a touchpad, when I open the address bar, trying to select a website causes the address bar to close again. It registers that I am clicking the upside-down triangle a second time rather than trying to select a website. How can I fix this?

My touchpad cannot tell the difference between trying to select a website from the address bar and trying to close the address bar. Essentially, I open the address bar using the upside-down arrow. Then, when it opens, I try to select a website from the pull-down list, but the list immediately closes because it thinks that when I touch my touchpad a second time, I am trying to close the pull-down list rather than trying to select something from that list.

I avoid using the touchpad and fortunately my laptop is equipped with a lighted switch to make changing usage very easy for me.

Make sure you start out by dragging, It worked very well for me and I didn't have to use the left mouse button or double tab, a single tap on the selected entry opened it up.
