is there a version for amd 64bit on windows 7 ultimate
i am interested in knowing that if you provide a version of firefox on windows 7 ultimate with a amd 64bit? if you do how do i install this without losing my previous stuff from my 32bit version?
There isn't a waiting list to add you to, but that actually sounds like a good idea so I'll go ask elsewhere if maybe that could be set up for people.從原來的回覆中察看解決方案 👍 4
Development builds do exist for 64-bit Windows, however it is not yet considered a fully supported platform. Only nighties are available, which are for testing and not recommended for daily use. It's probably best to continue using 32-bit Firefox on all versions of Windows for now. It is planned to eventually release Win64 versions of Firefox.
Just (re-)installing any version of Firefox does not lose any of your data.
Thanks for the info, I will wait until a 64bit is available. Can you notify me via my email that when it becomes available?

I've been using 64 bit nightlies for 0ver 3 months with no problems, except certain add-ons are not compatible. No loss of bookmarks etc when I changed over. It loads noticeably faster and is more stable than the 32 bit version on my Win 7 Ultimate laptop.
thanks for the input, i am just not weary to loose my things that i depend on with firefox especially by bookmarks, etc.... i will try it but what if i have 32 bit installed already, what type or kine of conflicts will incur? what is the link again>
