Problem accessing Outlook from a site on one of my computers

This is difficult to explain.

I have two computers -one laptop and one desktop. We have upgraded to Windows 7 on both but I do not do updates on the laptop.

I work on a website - and there is an availability to click on an icon in one of their pages - which will open an email in my Outlook program.

The icon works on the laptop - but does not work on the desktop - ie - I am unable to send pop my email (with their email address) into my Outlook program directly from the website.

I have tried to match up all the settings on the two computers - and everything seems to be exact. BUT there is a Tool on the destop giving me Adblock Plus Preferences - this is not in the desktop's list.

I have no idea where Adblock comes from and don't know if this is the problem

If it is - how do I change the setting?

If it is not - what other setting should I be looking for?

Thank you for any suggestions
