I have been using Firefox for several months. Last night my virus protection said that it detected malware(?) and removed it. However, after this I have not been able to open Firefox. When I would click on it, I would be asked to choose a program to open the file and would not open. I tried removing Firefox and downloading it again however, I cannot open the file I downloaded. It asks me to choose a program to open the file. Then I choose Inernet Explorer. Then Windows asks me if I want to run the file. I click Run. Then a window pops open for a couple of seconds and then the whole thing shuts down.
