Why would you do something like this? Easy access to Google is something I use constantly. Why should I have to give that up to get an "upgrade" to FireFox's instability problems.

Why would you release ANYTHING that conflicts with the most-used application on the planet? What are you guys thinking?

Please let me know when this is really "fixed."

Why won't you answer this question. Is there a conflict with the Google toolbar. YES or NO?

We also use a program called TACO from Abine that blocks hundreds of types of cookies. Will this be a conflict with Firefox. YES or No?

It is upto Google to update their software to make it compatible with FF5. Sorry can't help with your other request.

With all due respect, I didn't realize I was posting into a user forum. I had hoped for the courtesy of a reply from the authors.

Notwithstanding the above, how incredibly arrogant you and they appear to be. In the grand scheme of things do you actually think that's its Google's responsibility/obligation to make themselves compatible with Firefox, not the other way around?

Maybe no one mentioned it, but there are a hell of a lot more Google users out than Firefox users. Years ago, even Apple eventually came around and acknowledged the necessity of establishing some level of compatibility with the evil empire up in Redmond.

Obviously Firefox will do whatever they want (or in this case don't want) to do on this.

I won't be sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the guys at Google to start re-writing code to meet Firefox's standards.

The Google Toolbar 7.1.20110512W version does work pretty good in Firefox 5.0 by using the Compatibility Reporter extension. But not every feature works 100%.
