Sync encounters an unknown error everytime I try to sync

Firefox Sync stopped working all of a sudden. It always says "Sync encountered an error while syncing: Unknown error. Sync will automatically retry this action." I've retried many many times. I even deactivated my Desktop account and then added it again in Sync. I keep getting the same error. I am running Firefox 4.0.1

I think I fixed this.

Go to your sync account, log in, and click clear your sync data. Then click the Sync now button on the error message.

The error went away for me.
