You can use the F11 key to switch to and back from Full Screen mode.
You can also hove to the top of to page to make the navigation toolbar appear and right-click the toolbar to open the right-click context menu and select "Exit Full Screen Mode".
thanks for your reply, however: F11 does not open or close full screen on my machine. To go to full screen i have to go to view/full screen. When in full screen, the tabs are visible. If i right click the tabs or the open space to the right of them, in get a dropdown containing actions for tabs and bookmarks but no full screen button
I have just fixed it. I can now right click anywhere on the screen except the top edge, and the toggle full screen line appears excellent. thankyou
Hi there! Right click when in full screen mode doesn't show any "Exit full screen mode" option (see attached screenshot)... no way to leave the full screen mode without the keyboard? I'm running Firefox 3.6.10 in Ubuntu 10.04
I got a way away from this problem. When in full screen, if you move you mouse to the top right corner of your screen, there would be the options "Close", "Restore" and "Minimize". You should click on restore and the screen would come back to the normal view. Thanks.

-Posted By SerguiA Well, we can get that option if you right click the space NEAR the address bar, or otherwise, near the box where we would type in URLs. For more accurate understanding, see my screenshot as well. Thanks
