URL of affected sites
Check the exceptions. Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Exceptions"
See also Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox (Site Preferences)
Did everything told and still unable to get in? Its saying something is wrong with the site, but I can open it fine with Google or IE8?
Thank you to all involved, Kiki G.
Did you try to remove all exceptions? Microsoft uses a lot of domains while accessing Hotmail. --- You can start Firefox in Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode start window to disable all extensions. You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")
Per my previous notes, all this began with the uninstallment of TACO?
Try to delete cookies.sqlite in the Firefox Profile Folder
See "Remove corrupt cookies file": Fix login issues on websites that require a username and password
Sorry Cor-e, but how the heck do I delete cookies.sqlite? Man I hope this works!!!!
Thank you all, Kiki G. ( Cant stand Google Chrome, but that's the only way to get my Hotmail?)
Deleted cookies.sqlite, and still the same problem/ No hotmail in my Firefox browser (favorites bar)
Try "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" on the Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode start window - See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Resetting_preferences --- Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems See [[Basic Troubleshooting|#Make_a_new_profile|Basic Troubleshooting:Make a new profile]]
There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files) See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox
You know what, forget it! This is just becoming a darn headache, thank you for all your hard work! I really wish I would have had it working!
Thank you, Kiki G.
