When will Firefox supply an addon to remedy the bookmark problem. I like firefox but non of the repairs work. I am a low tech user who depends on firefox .
I need Firefox to provide an update to resolve the bookmark problem. I tried some of the tips to no avail. firefox is the expert. Please do what is necessary.

Which "bookmark problem"?
I am referring to last bookmarks and the inability to add new bookmarks. the issue id all over the Firefox troubleshooting website.

I cannot make bookmarks and lost all I had. I tried the solutions here on the forum but that does not work. I get the message: the bookmark and history will not work because one of the files of Firefox is used by another application. Some safety sorfware can cause this problem.
The solutions in the forum did not solve the problem.
There is also a website where I cannot login. I get this message: The system could not log you in since you failed the human verification test.
But I did the correct verification test.
Can someone help me?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems See [[Basic Troubleshooting|#Make_a_new_profile|Basic Troubleshooting:Make a new profile]] There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
