I lost all bookmarks when I had to do a parallel installation of OS. How can I find and move the old bookmarks to the new install of Ff?

I had to do a parallel installation of my OS (XP Pro) after McAfee damaged the original. I've re-installed Firefox but would like to recover my bookmarks. The old files are still on my C: drive. I haven't found info addressing this specific issue in the online help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
