Firefox iOS won’t redirect to apps
If I tap on a YouTube link in an app like my RSS reader or Bsky, and Safari is my default browser, it launches the YouTube app correctly.
Firefox instead opens the link in a Firefox window with a banner asking if I want to open the YouTube app.
Why can’t I skip the middleman? The only setting I can find is “Block links opening in external apps” which is disabled.

Ugh my original question wasn’t getting responses so I clicked on “ask it on our forum” and all it did was post another question here…
