Using iMac with M3 chip. Latest system software: Version 26.5.2 (25F84). On latest Firefox update.

I am no longer able to log in to my bank using the Firefox browser, BUT am able to log in using the Apple environment...ie Safari, and iOS. I'm a longtime customer/consumer of both Firefox and the bank, and this is the first time I've been unable to log in. I prefer Firefox over Safari, but my bank was recommending that I use another browser...like Safari, Chrome...etc. What do you think is the reason for what I would assume is a software compatibility issue? This was the message left on the screen: "Requested URL was rejected."

Any help would be nice to keep me from using Safari...

Basically the URL and a screenshot of the error would help to understand — but my guess is they're using a delivery/security platform that scored you as suspicious, and some of their subsystems then errored out, not serving you further.

These kind of blocks disappear over time for most users. Does it still reproduce?

This is the copy of the error message...nothing more nothing less. I have spoken with a tech at the institution in question, and he told me that they are "leaning" away from Mozilla and other browsers for the bigger guys like Safari, Chrome, and whatever Meta is pushing. I tested Safari on my desktop, and sadly it works where FireFox no longer does. I have been using Fire Fox for...ever, and I would like to continue, but the new fangled security prompts are jamming up the process (my opinion). Thanks for the feedback. Still looking for a solution/resolution.

Well, that looks like a message from F5 Networks "Application Security Manager" (ASM) — not the usual culprit :(

Does this happen before login, or after? (=can it be reproduced without valid account with that bank?)

If publicly accessible, it would be worth filing for visibility/outreach. If only after login, please submit it via "Report Broken Site" menu item from the browser menu.

Also have you tried spoofing your identity to look like Chrome if that allows you to get around these protections? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/uaswitcher/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/chrome-mask/

This happens at the log in. Pretty much locks me out of that portal. But...as stated earlier, I can access through Safari. I have not tried Chrome, which I don't normally use anyway. If the log in no longer works in FireFox...I'll just use Safari. I don't want to use extra means to "get around" the available software that's native to the browser. Thanks for your help.
