Why do my bookmarks keep disappearing?
Every week for the past 4 months, my bookmarks disappear for a few hours then reappear with no logical reason. Why is that? I try restarting but it doesn't work.

Disappear as in your bookmarks/library pane is empty (or has the factory default few ones?) — not just some of the toolbars hidden, correct?
Are you signed into Sync and syncing bookmarks with other devices?
You've tried restarting — just the browser, or rebooting the computer? (Some of these files tend to get locked by various antivirus scanners and similar)
I'd go to Help › More Troubleshooting Information, scroll to Places Database, and run the Verify Integrity check there.
Next I'd export the bookmarks and try rotating the underlying database.
