I am unable to load FaceBook and some other tabs following a recent upgrade.

I am using a Macbook air.

Following the last couple of updates I am now unable to see my Facebook feed, it will load the page except its only sort of highlighted. When attempting to load anything including messages it just hangs.

I have the same issue trying to access my Superannuation account, it simply hangs and eventually tells me to contact my fund due to a technical issue.

If I use Chrome or Safari or my iphone I can get in no problem to both of these.

I have tried disabling the VPN before we had it and after-no good!

Help,

Steve

If you try logging in via a new Private Window, does it improve?

Otherwise some standard troubleshooting steps that may help resolve the issue:

  1. Start with clearing Firefox cache.
  2. If it does not help, try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website).
  3. If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. If the problem doesn't persist, please follow the steps from this article to troubleshoot further.
  4. Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield Fx89ShieldIcon icon in the left part of the address bar. If ETP is enabled, try disabling it.
  5. If nothing from the above helps, it is most likely an issue on the website's side. You may want to inform the website owner or administrator about that. You can also report it to Mozilla using the built–in "Report Broken Site" tool that captures some extra diagnostic info for visibility. Thanks!

Thank you so much, went into trouble shoot mode and it is now working.

Hmmm, take 2. Closed Firefox and reopened it, still the same. Rats!

Ok, all good now.

I had an Adblocker giving me trouble.

Thanks so much for your help.
