When will Mozilla add Grokipeia to its list of search sources?

I have found Wikipedia to be biased and to contain much incorrect information. I would prefer to omit results from Wikipedia and to use data from Grokipedia instead. This presents two questions: 1. Will Mozilla add a general option to add or remove search sources? And 2. will Mozilla add Grokipedia to its list of sources?

Not likely as Mozilla only has had a short list of default search engines in Firefox where only one or two may vary depending on the language locale you are using. Though in 2022 Mozilla did remove Yandex and Mail.ru as default options in Firefox for users in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Turkey due to concerns regarding the promotion of state-sponsored content.

People can manually add in just about whatever search engine they want in Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-your-default-search-settings-firefox

Grokipedia was launched by Elon Musk who is currently one of the most disliked billionaire and global figures now especially in the past year, more so after he screwed up so many federal government departments and jobs (in retaliation for investigating him and his businesses) and using DOGE to wastefully cut and impacted far too many jobs, contractors, contacts, grants that are needed with no good cause.

Grokipedia is a more right leaning views perspective AI generated encyclopedia. Being AI it is said to be prone to frequently produces hallucinations, inaccuracies (like a lot of AI chatbots can easily do), and also promotes conspiracy theories, misinformation and omissions. Also Wikipedia is non-profit while Grokipedia is a for-profit project. So many lawyers, prosecutors and judges have learned the hard way to not use any of the AI bots to write stuff for them due to hallucinations.

Mozilla has been helping to fight against misinformation, disinformation, conspiracies, false rhetoric and such that right leaning media tends to do. https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/more/misinformation

So if they added Grokipedia and perhaps Grok AI then it would be going against those efforts as they would like to have the real information be available, something that even the more left leaning media has issues with doing sometimes.
