Extension add-on to disable AI
I've uploaded the addon disable AI by jruns which seems to work, how can I verify this is a genuine product?

I am sorry but I am not sure what you mean. Do you have a link to the page you installed the add-on from?
Did you install it from the Mozilla Add-ons website?
The OP is likely referring to the extension https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/disable-ai/

Genuine as in made by Mozilla or is safe ?. The vast majority of Extensions at AMO are made by a third-party author(s) or company. The ones made by Mozilla for the Firefox web browsers will have Firefox or Mozilla as the author.

Thank you, just wondering if it's safe? I realise if it's not Mozilla or Firefox guaratees can't be given but wondering if others have used it and found it to be ok.
I would suggest looking at the reviews on that site to see if any concerns have been raised. At first glance it does appear to be a highly rated add-on.
