After a PC reboot, when I launched firefox, all of my data was gone (extensions, bookmarks, passwords, etc) and it was as if I was launching Firefox for the first time. I wasn't sure if something happened to cause firefox to become corrupted, so I did a complete reinstall (uninstalled firefox + deleted all mozilla folders + deleted mozilla registry entries). After reinstalling, Firefox now does not ask where to save files. Both "Always ask you where to save files" and "Ask whether to open or save files" are enabled in firefox settings. browser.download.alwaysOpenInSystemViewerContextMenuItem , browser.download.alwaysOpenPanel , and browser.download.always_ask_before_handling_new_types in about:config are all true as well. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue and get firefox working as normal?
