Camera and microphone
I talk to friends on facebook/messenger. Previously my conversations were always on Firefox. But suddenly a couple of months ago I could no longer use my camera and my microphone on Firefox, and had to install a new browser. I have been trying several times to give Firefox permission to use my camera and my microphone, but sofar without success. What do I have to do?

This issue usually happens when site permissions or device settings get reset after an update. Try these steps:
Open Facebook or Messenger in Firefox.
Tap the lock icon in the address bar → choose Permissions → make sure Camera and Microphone are both set to “Allow.”
Then go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Permissions, and click Settings… next to Camera and Microphone — remove Facebook from the list, then re-add it when prompted.
Also double-check your operating system settings to ensure Firefox itself has camera/mic access.
After that, restart Firefox and try a quick call again — it should ask for new permissions. 👍
