I recently re-installed FireFox after I suddenly had problems that the profile folder could not be accessed. I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it using the download from Mozilla website. This fixed the profile issue. I am using the latest version. Now, I find that most of the time, cnn.com won't load: I see messages on the bottom left corner that it is connecting to all sorts of web sites, in particular it tends to get stuck on "Sending request to signal-metrics-collector-beta.s-onetag.com" . I don't know if it eventually loads, I give up after about 1 minute. In Chrome, cnn.com loads instantly. In Firefox, BBC.com loads instantly. Microsoft.com loads instantly. I have installed the same extensions as before. I started FireFox with all of them turned off, no difference. As I mentioned, it does not load MOST of the time - once in a while it loads instantly, but later on the problem reoccurs. >What is wrong with FireFox and why won't it load CNN as quickly as before?
