Firefox 138.03 Windows 11 Pro I have had this issue for previous versions of FF and in Windows 10. I have set FF to save in d:\downloads but to always ask. It does ask and I then direct it to the specific folder that I want to the save the file to be downloaded in. I change the name of the file and FF saves the file to that folder. However, FF also saves a copy of the file, with its original name, in the D:\downloads folder. Is there a way to prevent FF from saving the duplicate file? Thank you edit. Sorry, I just found others with the same issue. As I understand it, there is no way to prevent FF from saving duplicates.
