Available buttons sounds like the Customize panel ([[Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars]])? But if you mean buttons for extensions, specifically, they are now located on the Extensions button (puzzle piece) drop-down, so the first step is to open that list and pin the buttons to the toolbar, then you can use Customize to slide them around on the toolbar to your preferred location. If the cursor is not in a form field and you type a letter, Firefox may open Quick Find with that letter to search in the page. You can turn that off on the Settings page. Either: * menu button > Settings * (menu bar or Alt+T) Tools > Settings In the tiny search box, in the page, slowly type ''typing'' so that Firefox brings the relevant setting into view.
