Requiring a passkey
Firefox now requires me to use a passkey to log in to YouTube. I don't have (or want) a passkey. My computer locks up solid, and I must reboot when I cancel the request for a pass key. I have cleared the Firefox cache and cookies. Nothing seems to help.

I don't see that on my side using Chrome or Firefox when logging onto YouTube. Maybe post a screenshot of this minus any personnel login or info for others to see what is happening.
I can't give you an SS because my computer locks up solid. The window just asks for my passkey to be inserted into a USB port. When I select 'Try another way' it locks up. I hope this helps. I have tried to make a passkey, and the same problem occurs. Darn!!!
try this from another post: https://assets-prod.sumo.prod.webservices.mozgcp.net/media/uploads/images/2025-01-19-10-12-04-12e6e3.png
That looks like a Windows OS ask because of the box color.
Thanks for your help, but it is hard to bypass this issue. Firefox now requires me to use a passkey to log in on YouTube. I don't have (or want) a passkey. My computer locks up solid, and I have to reboot when I cancel the request for a passkey. I can log in to YouTube on my Samsung S10+ tablet and my S25 phone without any problems. This problem only occurs on my Windows 10 computer. I just sent a request to the folks at Mozilla.
