Bad Request notice

In trying to access (log in)Social Security Administration, I received "Bad Request""your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header exceeds server limit" I was able to log in with Chrome. Can this be corrected by mozzilla?

I'm just a user but I'd say nothing to be corrected. Kindly send a screen shot - works fine here. No offense, this is not a place for this subject- its worked here for me for 16 yrs. I'm not one to tell them how to do their biz...

I saw the same when I tried to log in.

I tried using edge and had no issue.

Clearing the cookies and site data for sss.gov resolved this issue for me.

Yes, the header that would most likely exceed the server limit is the Cookies header, consisting of the full list of cookies the site has previously set in Firefox.

(Another temporary workaround is to use a private window, since it will have a fresh temporary cookie store.)
