Firefox has no interest in tracking you - you can use private windows but I doubt that is an easy answer. Firefox tracks software performance for the benefit of all users but that tracking can be turned off. You can set FF to erase history after every shutdown. You can go to settings>privacy and Security> and change tracking settings there. And I'm sure there are extensions that claim to do what you want but then you have to worry about who wrote the extension as well.
