Select a different Google account for Gemini in AI Chatbot

It's not possible to switch Google accounts for Gemini in the AI Chatbot toolbar. When I select another Google account in the chatbox, the browser redirects to https://gemini.google.com, but the AI chatbot continues to use my default Gemini account, see the attached screenshot.

How is that a Firefox browser issue?

See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ai-chatbot

That’s annoying. It looks like the chatbot is stuck on the default account. Maybe clearing cookies or using an incognito window could help? Hopefully, Google addresses this soon.

It's not a google issue. It's the context that Firefox is holding about the log-ins and not applying the selected log-in to the Firefox chatbot sidebar.

I have a similar problem. I have two google accounts and I use Firefox multi-account container extension. When I open the chatbot sidebar wigh Gemini, the sidebar starts "logged out".

I then "Sign in" to my preferred account and I can use the sidebar. However, when I close the sidebar, the registered account is "lost" and I hve to go through the process of selecting the google account all over again
