Firefox using over 1GB of RAM, multiple processes running and all this with only one tab open. Then it slows to a crawl, I have to close and restart FF. Rinse, repeat.
Fix memory leak and unneeded open processes. These are not features, they are defects.

What OS? What version of Firefox? If windows, can we get a screenshot of the task manager performance tab?
