What OS? Where are you seeing the update notice? Is it from the browser or you OS? Post a screenshot What are you seeing when you go to help and then about in Firefox? see screenshots
The OP appears to be using a flavour of Ubuntu as the UserAgent used to post this thread is Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:95.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/95.0
